The CYMA Grand Maestro "The Chess" is built around the ETA 7751 — one of the most respected automatic movements ever made. Developed by ETA in Switzerland and found across the Swiss watch industry, the 7751 is a full-rotor automatic with an integrated chronograph and calendar module that has never needed to be reinvented. 25 jewels. 28,800 vibrations per hour. 48 hours of power reserve. It runs whether you wear it or not.
On the dial, that movement reveals itself completely:
- Chronograph — 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock. Start, stop, reset with the pushers at 2 and 4.
- Moonphase — the lunar cycle displayed at 6 o'clock, accurate to the astronomical moon within the watch's lifetime.
- Full calendar — day of week and month at 12 o'clock, central date hand. Everything you need to know at a glance.
- 24-hour subdial — day/night indicator at 9 o'clock. Useful for travel, better for conversation.
- Running seconds — small seconds at 9, the heartbeat of the movement made visible.
The 43.5mm case is surgical-grade 316L steel with a screw-down crown and screw-back caseback — the same secure architecture used on dive watches. 10 ATM water resistance. The sapphire crystal carries anti-reflective coating, eliminating glare from any angle. The silver-white dial wears its vertical brushed finish with restraint: every detail earns its place.
